Home & Belonging: A Night of Story and Sound
The need for 'home' is primal. We often think of it as a single place to root in; a singular point where we belong. But what if you are displaced, or your home no longer exists? What if you love two places at once, or everyone you know leaves? Is home really a place, or is it a memory? Does it even exist? Our ancestors were nomads for most of human history—so why do we search for something that may not be there? And will we ever find it?”
On 11 April, singer-songwriter and storyteller Naomi Warndorff invites us into a 1.5-hour exploration of “Home” and “Belonging”—themes rooted in her own journey growing up between the vibrant landscapes of Africa and Europe.
The Vibe: High-level live looping, evocative storytelling, and meaningful connection.
Using a loop station, Naomi builds complex, rhythmic layers and soulful harmonies in real-time. Her self-written songs blend lyrical depth with melodic beauty, with a refreshingly unpredictable style. Moving effortlessly between touching personal moments and spontaneous, theatrical wit, she creates a performance that is both mesmerising and deeply interactive.
Join us at Wild Cat Yoga Studio for a beautifully crafted evening of shared sound and honest reflection.
There will be a hat for donations.
